About Us🐸

Welcome to the Drake Bay Travel Club website. Our goal is to bring increased awareness to beautiful Drake Bay, the incredible Corcovado Park, and pristine Cano island, which is just off the beach from the central town of Agujitas.

We hope you realize how unique, wild, and irreplaceable the Osa Peninsula is and decide to explore the Drake Bay area yourself for truly unforgettable memories.

Having been a landowner in Drake Bay since 2008, I have been lucky enough to meet many of those that live and work along the bay and would be happy to recommend some quality people for you to plan your next trip with!

Have a good one, Darren 🐳

According to National Geographic, the Corcovado Park in Costa Rica is "the most biologically intense place on Earth" and is famously regarded as the number one national park in all of Central America! Adventurous travelers from around the world come to Drake Bay on their way to visit the amazing Corcovado Park, the largest park in Costa Rica just down the  coast from the busy central town of Agujitas. Just a few miles off the coast you can visit Cano Island as well and go whale watching, scuba diving or deep sea fishing. A few miles up the Pacific Coast is the mouth of the Sierpe River which is home to the largest protected mangrove forest in all of Central America that reaches far inland into the lush jungles of the remote Osa Peninsula.

Drake Bay has it all - the best national park, best-protected mangroves, and best island for observing marine life up close and personal! Our purpose here at DBTC is to bring public awareness to the incredible,  natural beauty of the Drake Bay area and invite wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers to visit the astounding Corcovado Park and unspoiled Cano  Island. There are many gorgeous hotels and wonderful restaurants up and down the coast of Drake Bay, some on the beach and some up in the hills where the jungle starts, with reasonable pricing to fit anyone's budget. Most hotels have expertly guided tours that they can arrange for you to both the park or the island, and a few can arrange fishing trips  as well.

Our mission here at DBTC is to keep a current list of the hotels,  restaurants, and tour guides in the Drake Bay area for you to choose from while making your travel plans to the Osa Peninsula. With proper notice, we can post public announcements and local news for the Drake Bay community, as well as a commercial area for real estate sales and such. If you need more information about traveling to the Osa Peninsula that you haven't seen here, please feel free to contact us and let us know, thanks for keeping Drake Bay in your dreams, pura vida, and see you soon!
